IPS Cranes Tagline Winder
Manufactured by IPS Cranes, tagline winders and aftermarket parts for existing tagline winders are now available for order. Taglines operate automatically to provide constant and positive tension to stabilize clamshell buckets and other types of crane loads for various applications. Mounted onto a crane boom, the tagline holds the clamshell bucket steady while suspended in the air, regardless of the boom angle.
The automated crane tagline consists of a cable wheel, cable wire, spring-loaded cylinders, and a bell guide fairlead. Taglines work on lattice boom cranes, including American Cranes, Link-Belt Cranes, Manitowoc Cranes, Kobelco Cranes, Ohio Cranes, and more.
